Materials: 

800 g colour 06, light beige

 CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 or 80 cm) SIZE 15 mm – or size needed to get 7 stitches and 8 rows in stocking stitch = width 10 cm and 10 cm vertically.

INFORMATION FOR PATTERN:

GARTER STITCH (back and forth):

1 ridge = knit 2 rows.

MOSS STITCH: 

ROW 1: * Knit 1, purl 1 *, repeat from *-*. 

ROW 2: Knit over purl and purl over knit. Repeat 2nd row upwards.

SCARF: 

Work piece back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 23 stitches on circular needle size 15 mm with Polaris. Work 3 ridges in GARTER STITCH - see explanation above - AT THE SAME TIME on last row increase 4 stitches evenly = 27 stitches. Then work next row from right side as follows: 6 stitches in MOSS STITCH, A.1 (= 15 stitches), 6 stitches in moss stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Continue this pattern. When piece measures approx. 155 cm, adjust after 1 whole repetition vertically - work in garter stitch, AT THE SAME TIME on 1st row decrease 4 stitches evenly = 23 stitches. Work 3 ridges, then cast off.
